Marina Allotments Autumn Fete & Apple Day 2026

Sunday 20th September, 1pm

Members, associated and friends of Marina Allotments are invited to join us for the return of our Autumn Fête & Apple Day on Sunday 20th September 2026 from 1pm

Timings for the day

• Submission of entries for prize categories from 1pm
• Apple pressing from 1pm – help turn windfall apples into fresh juice!
• Produce show prizes awarded, approx. 4pm

Show Prize Categories

For the third year, and in a nod towards traditional horticultural shows, we invite members to submit entries for the following prize categories:

1. A trug or box of mixed vegetables and or fruit (all of which you have grown on your plot)
2. 1 giant vegetable (any variety)
3. Amusing or misshapen vegetable…
4. Jar of preserve, jam or chutney (main ingredient from produce grown on your plot. Ingredients should be listed)
5. Cake of any type (ideally including something grown on your plot)
6. Bouquet of flowers (grown on your plot)

Children’s category:

7. Vegetable monster

To submit an entry on the day, please visit the shop before 3pm to collect your entry card(s). Submissions should be in place by 3pm on the day and the results will be announced at about 4pm. There is no fee to enter.

There will once again be prizes for first place in each category and awards for 2nd & 3rd places. Good luck!
