We’re fortunate to have an allotment shop on site. We sell canes, posts, fertilisers, compost, plant labels, netting and more… We also hire out mowers, strimmers and other machinery for plot-holders to use. We try to keep prices competitive, with any profits going back into the allotment association for maintaining the site.
The shop aims to be open on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am until 12 noon, during the main growing season, April to September. But, we rely on members volunteering to provide this service.
If you would be willing to do one or two shifts over the summer, looking after the shop, please get in touch with the committee. We provide a little training and it’s a great way to meet and get to know other members, whilst also helping out.
